Meet with a counselor to identify learning goals, verify previous educational experiences and develop a learning plan. Students take classes and complete projects to finish their learning plans.
Interested in a personalized way to earn your high school diploma? The State Standard Adult Diploma program is a new competency-based option for high school completion instead of a traditional credit-based diploma. In this free program, you will meet with a counselor to identify learning goals, verify previous educational experiences, and develop a learning plan. You will then take classes and complete projects to finish your learning plans and receive a high school diploma from the Minnesota Department of Education.
You must be 21 or older to apply. The program schedule is flexible, and you can check in with your instructors either in person or online.
Sessions are held at our Bloomington campus:
Monday – Thursday
8:45 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.
Monday & Wednesday
4:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m
*Students must attend at least 80% of their classes to stay enrolled.
How do I get started?
Contact us to sign up for a registration session. Students take a reading test to qualify. Don’t worry, if the required test score is not met, we’ll help you find another class option to help improve your reading skills.
