What is the Adult Diploma program?
• Metro South offers high school classes to adult students age 21 and
older who wish to earn their high school diploma.
• Upon completion, students receive a diploma from a Bloomington
high school.
How can Metro South help me get a diploma?
• Metro South provides instruction in the same content areas as a typical high school.
• Metro South helps students who have a few credits to finish, or students who have never been
to high school.
• Some classes can even be taken online! Our counselor will determine if you qualify.
Requirements:
• Students must be at least 21 years old.
• Students will take a placement test and be placed in the appropriate class. If the test score is not
met, an alternative class will be offered to help improve their reading skills.
Day Program:
• Monday & Wednesday 9:15 a.m. - 3:45 p.m.
• Students must attend at least 80% of their classes to stay enrolled.
Evening Program:
• Monday & Wednesday 4:30 - 8:30 p.m.
• Only for students working on credit make-up with one year or less to complete.
• Students must attend at least 80% of their classes to stay enrolled.

• The first step to getting started is to attend a registration session.
• Please call 952-681-6170 to make an appointment.
• If you want to transfer credits earned at a previous high school, please bring your
transcript with you to registration or have it faxed to 952-681-6171 Attention: Marni.
